United States 1927 Two-ring Bound Good VG Booklet
Tiny booklet measuring 2.5' by 3.25. Consists of two celluloid cover [sometimes called 'French Ivory'], with two plastic rings for a binding. Inside is a tiny calendar for 1928 and 9 leaves of printed stiff card for entering important telephone numbers. nly 3 leaves have been used, all in pencil. the front cover is ivory colored with a hand-painted illustration. The rear cover is solid black.

Leaflet with contestants, program etc. for an International Walkathon Marathon,, Endurance Contest. held at the Arena Auditorium in vancouver. Undated, but arguably an early Depression-era event, c.1930.
Size - 5.5" b 8.5", 4pp. Contains advertising for CJOR Radio Station. Not in great shape. has been folded and appears crumpled. Could be 'ironed' out. However, very scarce and unusual!

Small but attractive brochure for the AMI Model 'A' Jukebox. This model was in production 1946-7 and was the first instrument to play recordings on both sides. Glossy blue card, folded once. One printed page on specifications - 40 lines. One, tipped-in, b&w illustration of the 'space helmet' looking machine. Mint and attractive!

Folding, advertising brochure from Arrow Liqueurs. Printed both sides, in color. The brochure is undated but appears to be 1930s or early 1940s. On the front side no fewer than 35 bottles of labelled liqueurs are shown - in color. Plus, a chart of glass shapes etc. The reverse, in chart form, shows numerous recipes for mixed drinks. Folded size - 6.5" by 4". Unfolded size - 16" by 12". Clean and unmarked. All folds are sound.

Attractive, unused bookplate of Walter Russell, Baron Brain of Eynsham, County Oxford. He was a famed British neurologist who wrote standard scientific works on the subject. In 1965 he attended at the deathbed of Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill. Born in 1895, died in 1966. He was created Baronet in 1962 which would thus indicate the approx. date of the bookplate. Size - 4.75" by 5.75". Fully gummed on reverese. never mounted.
