xiii, 306pp, photo illustrated, large folding genealogical chart at rear. Interior is generally very bright and clean. There is material pasted to the fpde and ffep relating to the War servive of the pevious owner who served with The Woman's Transport Service as far back as WWI. The Commandant was the Countess of Athlone. The Countess was also the wife of the Governor-General of Canada. Binding is tight and square and there is no wear showing to the bright, red cloth. The clipped dustjacket is complete and quite clean but shows edge wear, a couple of short, closed tears, and mild curling to some edges - due to the plasticizeed paper used. Weight, 766g.
