Large photograph by an unknown professional photographer of the mining town of Pulacayo, Bolivia circ 1900. Photo shows the valley where the town and the mines were located, with arid mountains behind. Taken from a height above the valley. Sepia tone. Quite sharp and clean. Size of photo - 28cm by 23cm. Pucacayo is now a World Heritage Industrial Site. Known also for the location of a train robbery by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Photo from the ancestors of a British mining engineer who worked at Pulacayo in Bolivia. Image available on request
