Beautiful color, lithographed postcard in the poster style. Advertising the Allan Line from Liverpool, London and Glasgow to Canada, United States and River Plate. Shown is the RMS Tunisian next to a Battleship. Looks as if it portrays a Naval Review. The art-work is an early example of the art of Norman Wilkinson. The unused reverse is headed 'Universal Postal Union' and allows only for the address. This dates the postcard as an early, undivided back, possible pre-1904, perhaps 1902 [Coronation Naval Review].
