This is a vintage postcard signed by the subject, British actor Bransby Williams (1870-1961]. Beginning his career on the British Stage, he appeared in 11 movies between 1918 and 1952. In 1918 he played the lead in the silent film 'Adan Bede', and in 1928 he played Ebeneezer Scrooge in the movie 'Scrooge'. The inscription reads 'Sincerely Yours Bransby Williams'.
