These photographs came from Lester B. Peterson, a BC coast historian who wrote 'The Story of the Sechelt Nation', 'The Gibsons Landing Story' and 'The Cape Scott Story'. He was also a frequent contributor to Raincoast Chronicles. Peterson ontained the negatives for these prints fom Kay Kaminishi, son of the founder of the Royston Lumber Co. Peterson has written notes on the back of the photos with detailed explanations. He was to use these images in one of his books. Undated, but from the 1930s.
